I have a 360 controller but I dont have the USB extension…do I need to buy it to play PC games?

I’m assuming its wired I tried to use my wired controller and it didn’t work there are controllers out there that say they will work on PC I’ve seen them on eBay you can always call 1 800 4my xbox they can tell you everything thanks James

stupid question, think about it, how can it work if there is no signal from the said controller to the computer. pick up your game mate!
